Meet Our Doctor

Invisalign

Dr. Kim Nguyen was born and raised in Orange County, California. Growing up she always had a passion for helping others, volunteering her time and energy at local hospitals. Her journey of becoming a Dentist started as an undergraduate at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) where she graduated in 2003 with a degree in Biological Sciences. She went on to dental school at Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2007. She continued to further her studies and advanced her clinical skills with the completion of a one year General Practice Residency (GPR) at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York serving underprivileged communities. In 2008, she started working in private practices throughout New York City.

After being away for so long, Dr. Nguyen decided to move back to the sunshine state in 2009 to be closer to family. She was excited to finally come home and serve the community she loves. After working several years at various offices and growing professionally, Dr. Nguyen felt it was the right time to open her own practice. In 2014, Dr. Nguyen founded Mint Dental OC with a mission to provide a fresh, modern, comfortable and clean environment to help her patients achieve their optimal oral health. She loves connecting with her patients and providing a gentle and caring approach to oral care. Dr. Nguyen is a big believer in continued education and training, finding better ways to improve and serve her patients. She is an active member of the Orange County Dental Association (OCDA), American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA).

Dr. Kim Nguyen has been a proud resident of Yorba Linda, CA since 2011. She loves this community and always looks to support the local schools and businesses. On the weekends, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and kids cooking up delicious meals and taking walks around the neighborhood. If you run into her, don’t hesitate to say, “Hi”!
